Community relations task force for Trinity High School

Trinity first opened its doors in 1953, when Archbishop John Floersh anticipated the growth of Louisville's eastern suburbs by choosing the site of HolyTrinitySchool, a former Catholic church and grade school in St. Matthews. With the Catholic tradition of teaching and learning firmly embedded in the buildings that became Trinity, the school is now more like a small college campus with more than 1,400 students.

The Society of St. Vincent de PaulLouisville, KY area since 1853. It not only provides clothes and food for the homeless, but helps those folks with alcohol and drug dependency, as well as the chronically mentally ill. There are three dormitories on the campus that houses those in transition, provide housing for the mentally ill, and there are job and mental health counselors. They are dedicated to ending homelessness and in fact their slogan is "Ending homelessness, one person at a time."

Liberty Hall Historic Site

is located in historic downtown Frankfort on the banks of the Kentucky River, Liberty Hall Historic Site was the home of one of Kentucky's most interesting families. The site contains two houses: Liberty Hall (c. 1796) built by John Brown, one of Kentucky's first United States Senator and the Orlando Brown House (c. 1835), designed by Gideon Shryock, 19th century Kentucky architect, and owned by Senator Brown's second son.
